Berkeley 12JC, looks like. I've definitely never heard of somebody wanting to make a 60s lightweight amphibious using one of those.

You may notice in this picture that the rocker panels have been raised 7". This is not wholly for the purpose of stiffening up for the T-tops I'm adding.
